Students who are out of uniform for a valid reason need to bring in a note from the parent/guardian.  They will be issued an out-of-uniform demerit.  Students who receive 3 such demerits will serve an after school detention and forfeit the next out-of-uniform dress-up or dress-down day.

DRESS-UP & DRESS-DOWN DAYS

Occasionally, the students will be allowed to “dress-up” or “dress-down” (holidays, special events, rewards, etc.)  The following guidelines will be followed on such occasions:

Dress-up:

Students wear clothes that they would typically wear to church, a party, or a fine dining establishment.  They usually dress up for “Picture Day”, or when the school is celebrating a special occasion.

Dress-Down:

Students may wear jeans, T-shirts; sweat shirts, shorts, and sneakers.  However, shirts with questionable pictures/sayings, tight or very short shorts or tight jeans are never permitted, in keeping with the Christian atmosphere of the school.  Students who do not comply with these guidelines will be issued a demerit and will call home for a change of clothes.
