Welcome to St. John Vianney

St. John Vianney parish has been serving the South Towns since 1958. St John's elementary School has been serving the community since 1960.

You enter this church…not as a stranger, but as a guest of God. He is your heavenly Father. Come, then, with joy in your heart and thanks on your lips into His presence, offering Him your love and service. Be grateful to the strong and loyal ones, who in the name of Jesus Christ, built this place of worship, and to all who have beautified it and hallowed it with their prayers and praise. Keep in mind our founders who under the leadership of Msgr. Edmund J. Dietzel saw a bright future for the people of West Seneca and Orchard Park. Ask God’s blessing on those who love his house of faith as the inspiration of their labor, rejoicing in the power of the Holy Spirit, and may that blessing rest on you, both on your going out and coming in. We are 2,931 families consisting of over 9,197 individuals, and still growing in the Lord!

Young Adult Survey:

Attention all those ages 18-39!  You have a voice in the Catholic Church and we want to hear it.  The Diocesan Department of Youth & Young Adult Ministry is conducting an area-wide survey of all young adults to help understand your spiritual and social needs. This includes all high school grads, college students, young singles, young families, etc. We are interested in the responses of those who regularly attend Mass, occasionally attend, and those who may have left the Catholic Church or are no longer practicing. If you are a young adult, or if you have a young adult in your family, please visit www.dobyouth.org/youngadultsurvey.  It only takes 5-10 minutes to complete and all responses are anonymous. The results will be shared with pastors and church leaders to help address your needs. The more responses the better, so please share with your young adult family and friends. The survey will be live through May 31st. Thank you.
